Privacy policy

Last updated 14 September 2026

Inner West Roof Repairs is a trading name of Roof Repairs Sydney Pty Ltd (ABN 42 659 941 018). This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and when you call us, how we use it, who we share it with, and how you can access or correct it. We aim to handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

When you send an enquiry through the enquiry form, we collect the details you enter: your name, phone number, suburb and the service you need, and, if you choose to give them, your email address and a message about the job.

Along with the enquiry, the website sends the page the form was on, the page you first arrived on, the website that referred you, and any advertising tags in the link you followed (for example a Google or Facebook click ID, or campaign tags). These are held in your browser only for that visit and are sent to us only if you submit the form.

When you call us from an ad or this website, Google Ads call tracking records the time and length of the call and the caller’s area code, so we can tell whether our advertising produced the call. It does not record the conversation.

When you browse the site, the tools described under “Cookies and analytics” collect information about your visit, such as the pages you view, your device and browser, your approximate location, and how you arrived.

How we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry, inspect your roof, prepare a quote and carry out the work.
  • To keep a record of enquiries, quotes and jobs, including for warranty, insurance and tax purposes.
  • To understand which advertising and which pages lead to enquiries, so we spend our marketing budget sensibly.
  • To find and fix parts of the website that are hard to use.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers who handle information on our behalf:

  • Scalepoint, our website and marketing agency, which builds and manages this website and our advertising and receives a copy of website enquiries.
  • Vercel, which hosts this website and processes form submissions.
  • Resend, which delivers enquiry emails to our team.
  • Google, for Google Analytics, Google Ads and the map on our contact page.
  • Microsoft, for Microsoft Clarity.

Some of these providers store information outside Australia, including in the United States. We may also disclose information where the law requires it. The map on our contact page is provided by Google Maps, and Google may collect information when it loads.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses cookies and similar technologies for three purposes:

  • Google Analytics measures how the site is used: pages viewed, how long visits last, device type and how visitors arrived.
  • Google Ads records whether a visit from one of our ads led to a call or an enquiry.
  • Microsoft Clarity records how visitors use pages, such as clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, including session replays and heatmaps, so we can see where people get stuck. Text typed into form fields is hidden from these recordings.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site still works. You can also use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, manage Google ad personalisation at My Ad Center, and read how Microsoft handles Clarity data in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Keeping your information secure

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we keep it only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, including our legal, warranty and tax obligations.

Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing info@innerwestroofrepairs.com.au or calling 1300 169 810. We will respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first using the details above so we can put it right. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the way we collect or use information changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
